The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to certain portions of Stevens & Day’s network between November 22, 2024, and November 28, 2024. Stevens & Day conducted a comprehensive review of the impacted data to determine what information was compromised and identified affected individuals. This review concluded on July 1, 2025. On August 8, 2025, Stevens & Day filed a notice with the Attorney General of Maine and began sending out notice letters to the impacted individuals.

The following types of information may have been compromised:

  • Social Security number;
  • Driver’s license or state identification card number;
  • Financial account number, credit card number, or debit card number; and
  • Account passwords, personal identification numbers, or other access codes.
