What Happened?

On or about December 13, 2024, St. Marys became aware of unusual activity on a server it operated. Upon discovery, St. Marys promptly began an investigation and engaged a specialized third-party cybersecurity firm to conduct a comprehensive investigation to determine the nature and scope of the data event. Through the investigation, St. Marys determined that an unauthorized actor may have viewed and copied certain data stored by St. Marys. St. Marys conducted a comprehensive review of the potentially impacted data to identify affected individuals. An initial group of impacted individuals was identified on January 7, 2025, and notification letters were mailed to those with available address information on February 6, 2025. A second group was identified on March 11, 2025, and notification letters were mailed on April 7, 2025.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised:
  • Name,
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth,
  • Rx number and information, and
  • Date of service
