On September 1, 2025, Personic became aware of unauthorized activity affecting a third-party software platform used to process patient information. Upon learning of this unauthorized activity, Personic launched a comprehensive investigation with the support of external cybersecurity experts and notified law enforcement. The investigation determined that an unauthorized actor had accessed the the third-party software platform on August 29, 2025, and obtained certain data. On November 18, 2025, Personic filed a notice with the Attorney General of Maine and mailed notice letters to impacted individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised:
  • Name; and
  • Protected Health Information (PHI).
