What Happened?

On or about November 7, 2024, Century became aware of a cybersecurity incident on its computer systems. Upon detection, Century launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. On May 30, 2025, the investigation determined that one or more of the files potentially accessed or acquired by the unauthorized party contained individuals' personal information. On June 27, 2025, Century began sending notice letters to affected individuals and also filed a notice of data breach with the Maine Attorney General.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised:
  • Full Names;
  • Dates of birth;
  • Social Security numbers;
  • Driver’s license and/or state identification numbers;
  • Medical information;
  • Health insurance information;
  • Passport numbers;
  • Financial account information; and
  • Digital signatures.
