If you recently received a letter or an email from Master Mobilelink LLC and Mobily LLC, d/b/a Mobilelink (“Mobilelink”) informing you that your sensitive personal information was compromised in a data breach, we would like to speak with you about your rights and potential legal remedies. Mobilelink recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that may have exposed individuals’ sensitive personal information.

What Happened?

In December 2025, a ransom group known as DragonForce claimed responsibility for accessing the Mobilelink’s systems and extracting a significant volume of data. The unauthorized party allegedly obtained approximately 5 terabytes of information and threatened to release it on the dark web.

The breach was confirmed on March 30, 2026, when the Attorney General of Texas’ website published Mobilelink’s report on the breach. According to this source, at least 12,201 Texas residents were impacted. Mobilelink also indicated that is has begun to send individual notice of the data breach by mail to those they have identified as affected.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information may have been compromised:
      • Names;
      • Social Security numbers;
      • Financial account information (e.g. account number, credit or debit card number); and
      • Dates of birth.
