What Happened?

Around November 2025, Mister Guns experienced a cybersecurity incident, as indicated by publicly available threat intelligence and reporting. A ransomware group known as “Securotrop” claimed responsibility for the attack and alleged that it exfiltrated approximately 290 GB of data, including more than 250,000 files, from Mister Guns’ systems.

The reportedly compromised data includes a wide range of information, such as internal corporate records, customer data, financial documents, communications, and operational materials accumulated over several years.

At this time, Mister Guns has not publicly disclosed details such as the timeline of the breach and its discovery, or the methods by which the breach was carried out. However, the company has confirmed that the personal information of 19,662 Texas residents was potentially impacted. On March 25, 2026, the Texas Attorney General published Mister Guns’ report of the breach on its website.
