What Happened?

On or about February 19, 2025, Mercury discovered suspicious activity on its network. Upon discovering the incident, Mercury immediately launched an investigation with the help of third-party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation confirmed that unauthorized access to Mercury’s systems occurred during a very brief period between February 18, 2025, and February 19, 2025. Further review completed on or about February 27, 2025, revealed that certain Mercury information was taken without authorization. On April 10, 2025, Mercury filed a notice with Maine Attorney General’s office and began issuing notice letters to affected individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information may have been compromised:
