What Is This About?

If you recently received a letter or an email from Langdon & Company LLP ("Langdon") informing you that your sensitive personal and protected health information was compromised in a data breach, we would like to speak with you about your rights and potential legal remedies. Langdon & Company LLP recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that exposed individuals’ sensitive personal and protected health information. This data breach affected certain information of patients of one of Langdon's clients, Easterseals North Carolina & Virginia.

What Happened?

On April 28, 2024, Langdon & Company LLP became aware of a security incident on its network. Upon detection, Langdon launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to Langdon’s network and exfiltrated certain files between April 21 and April 28, 2024. Langdon conducted a comprehensive review of the impacted data to determine what information was compromised and identified affected individuals. Langdon determined that sensitive patient information from one of its clients, Easterseals North Carolina & Virginia, may have been taken from Langdon's network during the period of unauthorized access. On June 3, 2025, Langdon notified Easterseals of the affected data, then proceeded to verify the information and obtain mailing addresses. On August 1, 2025, Langdon & Company LLP made a public disclosure and began sending out notice letters to the impacted individuals.
