What Happened?

On April 22, 2024, DISA Global Solutions, Inc. became aware of a security incident that impacted a portion of its network. Upon discovery, DISA launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to DISA’s environment between February 9, 2024, and April 22, 2024, and procured some information. DISA conducted a thorough review to determine the personal information affected. On February 24, 2025, DISA filed a notice with the Maine Attorney General’s Office and started sending out notice letters to the affected individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information may have been compromised:
  • Name,
  • Social Security Number,
  • Driver’s License Number,
  • Other Government Identification Numbers, and
  • Financial Account Information
