If you recently received correspondence from DermCare Management and/or Dermcare Topco LLC (“DermCare”) indicating that your sensitive personal or protected health information may have been involved in a data breach, we would like to speak with you about your rights and potential legal remedies. DermCare has publicly acknowledged a cybersecurity incident that may have resulted in the exposure of certain individuals’ sensitive personal and protected health information.

What Happened?

On February 26, 2025, DermCare identified suspicious activity within its computer systems and promptly took steps to secure its network. The company retained the services of third-party cybersecurity experts, and following an investigation, the company determined on March 2, 2026 that certain patient information may have been impacted.

The investigation found that an unauthorized party accessed DermCare’s systems and accessed or took certain files between February 14 and February 26, 2025. DermCare then conducted a comprehensive review of the affected data, which concluded on March 2, 2026, when impacted individuals were identified and notification efforts began.

DermCare reported the incident to the Attorneys General of California on April 8, 2026, and Texas on April 10, 2026. DermCare has begun to send individual notice of the incident to affected persons, including 9,724 Texas residents via U.S. mail.

What Information Was Impacted?

Based on DermCare’s public disclosures, the following categories of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised:
      • Names;
      • Social Security numbers;
      • Financial account information;
      • Credit and debit card information;
      • Government-issued ID information (e.g. passport or state ID card) ;
      • Medical information;
      • Driver’s license numbers.
