On December 13, 2024, a threat actor operating under the name "LEAKEDDATA" claimed responsibility for a cyberattack against Davenport & Company LLC, alleging to have accessed and leaked a database containing sensitive customer information. The investigation determined that unauthorized access to sensitive personal information occurred. On April 4, 2025, Davenport & Company LLC filed a notice with the Massachusetts Attorney General, reporting that 30 Massachusetts residents were affected.
