What Happened?

On December 2, 2024, Bridges Experience, Inc. detected unauthorized access to its internal systems. The company promptly launched an investigation with third-party cybersecurity experts, which determined that an unauthorized party accessed employee email accounts and other systems between December 2, 2024, and January 22, 2025. A detailed review was conducted to identify the compromised information and affected individuals. After an extensive forensic investigation and complex third-party manual review, Bridges EXP discovered on June 3, 2025, that certain emails and files accessed and/or acquired by the unauthorized party contained personal information for clients of Bridges EXP. On June 26, 2025, Bridges Experience, Inc. filed a data breach notice with the Vermont Attorney General’s Office and began notifying impacted individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised:
  • Names;
  • Dates of birth;
  • Social Security numbers;
  • Financial Account Numbers and routing numbers;
  • Medical Information;
  • Individual health insurance information;
  • Driver’s license numbers;
  • Payment card numbers and access PIN numbers;
  • Payment card expiration dates;
  • Passport numbers; and
  • Taxpayer identification numbers.
