What Is This About?

If you received a notice or any communication from Bank3 regarding a data breach, your personal and financial information may have been exposed. Our firm is investigating this incident and we would like to speak with individuals who received notification.

What Happened?

Bank3 identified suspicious activity within its computer network on August 20, 2025 and launched an investigation with third-party forensic specialists. The investigation determined that an unauthorized actor accessed Bank3’s systems at various times between July 25, 2025 and August 7, 2025, during which certain data was viewed or copied. The ransomware group known as Qilin later claimed responsibility and publicly alleged it had obtained approximately 149 GB of data, describing it as the bank’s full dataset. Following a review of the files involved, Bank3 began notifying affected individuals on or about April 15, 2026, and reported the incident to state regulators, including notices filed in New Hampshire (affecting 19 residents) and Maine on April 15, 2026.
