What Happened?

On or around May 15, 2025, Pollard discovered suspicious activity on its computer network. An investigation determined that an unauthorized actor had accessed and copied files on or around April 8, 2025. On July 15, 2025, the company concluded that the incident compromised sensitive personal and financial information belonging to at least 17,907 individuals. On August 8, 2025, Pollard began providing notice to its clients from whom Pollard receives personally identifiable information in relation to Pollard’s third-party administration services. Pollard reported the breach to the Attorneys General of Maine, Montana, and Vermont on September 16–17, 2025, and began mailing notification letters to impacted individuals on September 16, 2025.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information may have been compromised:
  • Name;
  • Social Security number;
  • Financial account information.
